    Soak the rice in water for about 30 minutes then drain.

    Grind the soaked rice and almond to a fine powder using a blender or food processor.

    In a saucepan, combine the ground rice and almond powder with sugar and 1 liter of almond milk, whisking to combine well.

    Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir continuously until the mixture thickens, about 15-20 minutes.
